Dear ladies and gentlemen,

welcome to my website! In September 2009 I was elected to the German Bundestag. My hometown is Landshut close to Munich, Bavaria. I am a permanent member of the Finance Committee and a deputy member of the Committee for Economics and Technology and the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment. In addition I am also Chairman of the ASEAN Parliamentary Friendship Group of the German Bundestag. As a deputy member of the Enquete commission für Growth, Prosperity and Quality of Life I keep a special interest on sustainability, especially in respect to limited natural ressources, energy efficiency and renewable energies. In this framework I initiate and support appropriate activities in Bavaria for citizens and communities.
